Where are we now?
In 2008 we initiating a series of events within the county, providing a range of opportunities exclusively aimed at 11 – 18 year olds in the Buckinghamshire county, reaching an estimated 92,000 young people. This not only gave the county vital information about the quantity and quality of the level of sports activity undertaken by young people, it also provides us with a model to roll out to other regions in the UK.
All 26 Olympic sports are covered and all ranges of ability embraced. Enthusiasm and a sense of fun are the only criteria to being welcomed on board.
