What are our Charity Objectives?
The Charity's objects (the Objects) are
1) To advance the education of children and young persons in the subject of sport (which
Encompasses all aspects of sporting activity and other forms of physical education and Recreation)
2) To encourage community participation in healthy recreation in particular for those who have a need by reason of youth, infirmity or disability, poverty or social or economic circumstances
In particular, but not exclusively by
a) Entering into partnerships with local Educational Authorities and County Sports
Partnerships to promote youth sports;
b) Supporting sports coaches to provide community based coaching for children and young people;
c) Supporting the activities of community amateur sports clubs which meet the criteria for being considered charitable;
d) Providing financial assistance to individuals to enable them to participate in amateur sports;
e) Supporting the British Olympic Foundation charity or other such charitable bodies; or
f) Supporting any other exclusively charitable purposes as the trustees of the charity may in their absolute discretion determine
